The Nelson family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who joined them in celebrating the life of Pastor D. Your presence, kind words, cards, meals, and shared memories have brought them immense comfort during this time. Thank you for honoring his legacy with them. 🙏🏾

Hello CCPB Family,

On Saturday morning, as the sun rose and kissed the morning sky, our dear Pastor Darrol Nelson took his first breath in the presence of the one he loved so much. After a two-year battle with cancer, Pastor D traded his cape for a crown.

This was sudden for the family, so please give them some privacy at this time. We will provide further updates as they become available.

Thank you all for praying for the Nelson family and giving them the space to make wonderful memories in his last days. 

We know that the coming days will be challenging, however, we do not mourn as the world mourns but we have a living hope that we will see him again. 

Please continue to pray for the Nelsons and the church family as they navigate the upcoming days. 

He fought a good fight and has finished his race!
